Beyond the choice to make when packing a bag when you're a girl, there are also choices that can pay off when you put his clothes in his bag. During my first trip to Asia, I did not know what to expect ... After a month in Thailand, here are my girl tips for choosing the right clothes to dress in Asia!
Dressing to travel in Asia: in warm weather, plan for light clothes!
Whether traveling to the North or South of the country, the climate is always very hot in Thailand. During the day, temperatures can rise very quickly! It is better to provide light clothing, cotton to avoid excessive perspiration in synthetic materials and enough to change every day, if not more! For my part, I left with a nice collection of simple tank tops, all the colors to be able to change every day while being good all day.
My tip: rather than having underwear that compresses and socks all day in the blazing sun, I often travel with women swimwear tops (black or white) that serve as a bra during the day. It allows me to be free of my movements and to be able to change quickly anywhere.
Also note that if you have not been able to bring your wardrobe on site, it is very easy to find very light tank tops with many different designs. The quality is not necessarily top but they are very practical for a few weeks in Thailand!
Avoid the too sexy side to travel in Asia
Asian countries have another look at women, even though tourists are generally spared by looks and other "misplaced" remarks.
During my trip to Thailand, I planned some shorts (not mini-shorts but shorts of a reasonable size) and dresses. For the practical side to visit, I was often in mini denim shorts but I ended up buying a sarouel for a few baths (local currency) in a small market. Indeed, a very fine and colorful fabric, which allows the skin to breathe and allows you to tread everywhere without having to pay special attention to its positions.
Good jeans, your best ally to climb everywhere ...
I preferred to keep my little summer dresses for lazy days in the islands or even in Bangkok where we find many different styles of dress: it is easier to pass unnoticed among the girls.
Beachside, dress to travel in Asia: be yourself!
The beaches are mostly dedicated to tourists, it is quite rare to see the locals make the pancake on the page; at the limit, they bathe but it is quite rare. Do not have too many complexes with your 2-piece swimsuit on the beach, nobody will bother you with that!
Enjoy the beautiful beaches at the end of the world!
Remember to respect the people around by remaining dignified and discreet: avoid topless that could shock a lot of people or hugs a little too close in public. These are relatively poorly perceived attitudes in Thailand and throughout Southeast Asia.
And you, what are your tips for dressing up in Asia? Do you have privileged clothes? Have you ever had any "problems" with an outfit?
Now that you are ready to travel to Asia, continue to dream on my blog journey through the articles on Thailand.
