For a few seasons, the pajamas have come out of bed to invest bitumen. Between us, the sleepwear in the city, at first, we did not believe it too much. But little by little, the fashion trend has made its nest. City pajamas, what do you think? Yes Yes Yes.
Some fashion trends need time to find their audience. A bit like broccoli. At first, we're not a great fan but when it's well cooked, it's something else.
All the same with the sleepwear trend. Not obvious at first but by dint of seeing it worn, we start to believe. Need proof? Flip through instead.
Sleepwear, a fashion trend that we adopt?
For several seasons, the sleepwear trend has been on the catwalks. Sometimes the nightie, sometimes the pajama jacket. At Dolce & Gabbana, at Gucci, and at Etro. All over.
In Fashion Week, it's one thing. In everyday life, another.
To adopt it definitively, we waited for people to launch before us. On the red carpet, city pajamas have become one of the must-have outfits. Rihanna, Selena Gomez, Sienna Miller or Rita Ora, all the stars have adopted why not us?
The more we see it and the more we love it. It was the same with the return of 90s fashion. Now that sleepwear is democratized, we believe it. A nightie or a pajama jacket found on both Asos and Zara, we say yes.
City pajamas, how to wear it?
To wear sleepwear, you have two options: bold as always or elemental, simple and safe.
With the first option, you dare city pajamas to 100%. Jacket, sexy tank tops and pants, it's a little risky but it's possible. If you're the type to wear slit dresses, you can try it with a satin nightie. Combined with an XXL denim jacket and a pair of sneakers, this piece of lingerie becomes a real fashion asset. Small tip: for the first time, try city pajamas in total look for a party look.
With the second option, you mix. Shirt or pants silk pajamas, you choose your camp. For example? Wear the dress shirt with boyfriend jeans for a casual-chic look. You can also wear silk pants with a sweatshirt for a streetwear look.
